and email versus print.
- Work around digital
camera shortcomings
- Use tips and tricks for taking better
digital photographs
- Take great digital
portraits outdoors
- Get prints without using
your computer
- Use your cameras basic
settings with confidence
Part of this workshop
will include practicing what you learn with their
fellow students, reviews of students photos will
take place as time permits.

6.5 hour class on digital imaging using PhotoShop Elements
Version 9, one of the best amateur photo editing
packages.
This
course will help you learn how to:
- Create simple backgrounds with photographs and
scans
- Embellish and give more of a 3d look with shadows
- Make your own “die cut” effects on your
layouts
- Use the "Healing Brush" to remove skin
imperfections
- Correct your photos.
- Manage your scrapbooking files with the
“Organizer”.
- Use layers to create visually stunning scrapbook
pages.
The
instructor will provide a wireless keyboard and mouse to be
passed around the class to help the learning process.
Please
bring one scrap of your favorite paper or fabric and one
small object you would like to see possibly used in the
demonstrations.
